Michael Plank is an associate attorney for Ideal Business Partners. Plank assists his clients with restructuring their entities to fit their business needs. His practice also vets service contracts for healthcare professionals. When IBP clients are presented with ancillary service contracts, Plank will, in concert with a finance associate, present clients a complete evaluation for said services regarding risk, financial viability, integration, legality, and a recommendation grounded on such factors.
Plank started his career in the supplement industry where he worked for the world’s largest online supplement retailer. Plank performed regulatory compliance analysis for vendor advertisements regarding FTC and FDA regulations. After earning his Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing and Finance from Boise State University, Plank hung up his snowboarding boots and moved to the desert to pursue a law degree at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
During law school Plank was a mentor to undergraduate and high school students in the “Huellas” program put on by La Voz, the Hispanic Law Student Association. Plank also served as an intern for the Honorable Bruce A. Markell in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Nevada. Before joining IBP, Plank worked for a regional law firm where he represented creditor rights for financial institutions.
